Best Japanese food in Gastonia. The Korean options make it different than the others around. Everything here is great. The sushi, Japanese and Korean dishes. The dumplings are awesome.

A good selection of sushi and hot food on the lunch buffet I was really surprised at how many items they had. Lots of kinds of sushi rolls
The hot bar had quesadillas, noodle selections , veggies
There is also a salad section. The ginger dressing was delicious
I took 2 grandkids and there was plenty of things to fill us all up -

We stopped by for lunch and tried out the buffet. Awesome!!! I actually would recommend the buffet style to anyone new to sushi for the simple fact you don't have to over commit to a roll you might not like (and there are traditional hot dishes to make sure you get enough). The range of rolls is diverse so there is something for all levels of explorers. I'd also recommend the buffet to couples or friends who just can't agree on rolls. My husband likes more of the raw rolls and I just can't... but we both have a balance this way.
Aside from the sushi the hot bar had tons of fresh options and if sushi isn't your thing you have over a dozen options to choose from.
Great price at lunch ($9.95) but a drink is extra. Thanks Wassabi! -

So this is a Korean and Japanese restaurant. There was a very young attentive gentleman who greeted us and was very likeable.
We started with the shu mai which was good. I forgot to take pics until after we finished it!
I ordered the bulgogi which came with rice and was absolutely delicious! The beef was tender, flavorful and abundant! We got a plate with kimchi, bean sprouts and potato. I've never had potato in a Korean restaurant before! I wasn't very crazy about it though
Hubby got the crazy coconut rolls that were out of this world! They had cream cheese in them that took it over the top! A must try!!
We were too stuffed for dessert! I suspect that this will become a favorite place for me! -

Very good Japanese food huge menu to choose from. Udon noddle dish was awesome service was good and quick... sushi choices were endless was hard to choose!!! All rolls ordered were top notch.. was a little pricey but left feeling full. No plum wine was a let down but they do have Saki and that's my dish!!!
